Michael Palin of Monty Python's Flying Circus fame. He has been voted the Nicest Man in Great Britain and my sister can vouch for that. She bumped into him about three times while in London a few months ago, and each time their eyes met, he would smile, nod his head and say, "Have a good day!" She even sat behind him on a train from Scotland. He is also a very accomplished writer and has many intellectual travel DVD's that I used to watch all the time on PBS. A very interesting, well read, well traveled 'nice' man.
